The Issue: In November of 2019 Jeff’s furnace stopped working. It kept turning off and would not stay on. It was already getting cold on the Cape, and it was important that Jeff and his family have a working heating system, so he did what his family had been doing for generations: he called Snow’s.
The Service Visit: When Jeff called Snow’s about his broken furnace, we promptly dispatched one of our experienced HVAC service technicians to his home to evaluate the problem. Our HVAC service technician arrived just hours after he called. We found that there were two options for Jeff. Option 1, purchase required replacement parts for his 20-year old furnace, or Option 2, replace his furnace with a new high-efficiency model. The HVAC service technician was happy to proceed with Jeff’s preference, but recommended a replacement because a new high-efficiency model would help Jeff save energy and money, and avoid future issues commonly caused by an aging furnace.
The Solution: Jeff decided that it was time to buy a new furnace. The Snow’s team helped him select a new furnace that suited his heating needs and budget. Plus, we assisted him through the Cape Rebate Program process so he could take advantage of additional savings. It was late fall, and Snow’s prioritized Jeff’s installation to make sure that he would have a working heating system before winter.
