Are there different kinds of Smart Home Protection plans?

Yes, we offer two options for Smart Home Protection. The most popular is the Internet Smart Home Protection service, which uses Internet-connected monitoring devices on your fuel tank and indoor temperature sensors to detect any issues. Should the system identify a problem, an alert is automatically sent to us, and we dispatch a Snow’s representative to evaluate and solve the issue. We also offer an on-site home monitoring service where a Snow’s representative will visit your home in person twice per week to check for any HVAC or fuel-related problems.

Should I get Smart Home Protection if I have a seasonal home on the Cape?

Smart Home Protection is a highly recommended service for seasonal residents. Cape Cod has extreme winter weather, and leaving your home unchecked puts you at risk for unnecessary damages. Running out of fuel or losing heat temporarily can cause pipes to freeze and burst, something you don’t want to worry about! Snow’s Smart Home Protection ensures that your home is monitored 24/7.

Should I get Smart Home Protection if I live on the Cape all year long?

Despite what you might think, Smart Home Protection is a wise investment for year-round Cape Cod homeowners, too. If you go out of town for a business trip, family visit, or vacation, your home could still be at risk of winter weather problems. Having Snow’s Smart Home Protection will deliver greater peace of mind.
